Autumn heralds roaring fires, menus featuring wild local game & northern harvest produce. Feathered and furred game are one of our signature menu items and we do it very well.  Our fixed price menu with choice (£50 for 3 courses) runs right through until December bookable through our online diary. We always have a walkers walk in menu available daily at lunch, this cannot be booked. We close in November for our annual team break and we also have some planned closures for maintenance

Christmas is a wonderful time of the year at Parkers. The mantles are decked in boughs of holly and evergreen, the crackling roaring fires surround you with warmth and atmosphere along with the fragrance of fresh fir and pine to create a magical country Christmas. Yes indeed a very country Christmas season with menus curated to feature delicious seasonal local ingredients and bursting with generosity.

Throughout the festive season during lunchtimes we will always have our walk in walkers on lunch menu. This is unbookable and is on a 1st come 1st served basis and tables will be dependent on availability.

Our celebrate the season menu is the perfect preamble to the festive season. Our usual 3 course fixed price menu with the best of the seasons offerings from a selection of 4 starters, 4 mains and 4 puddings to be enjoyed with family, friends or colleagues.

Christmas Time

Christmas Eve at Parkers is a lovely quiet family affair. Close family and friends get together for lunch or early evening supper to tuck into delicious dishes and go home ready to welcome Santa and enjoy the Big day.  New Year’s Eve is an altogether gentle cosy event, bring your loved ones, settle by the fires and let us feed you very well before you go off to a great party or home to welcome in the New Year. Boxing Day lunch and New Year’s Day lunch at Parkers is just the ticket. Great drive out, a good walk to blow away the spiders and sit down to a delicious heart lunch of great classics and grills after all the rich festivities.  Enjoy top quality food and service at easy on the pocket prices because that is what we do best at Parkers, no tasting menus no fanfare, generosity gastronomy is our ethos Menus TBC because one can never really be sure what is available from suppliers in December during September, but be assured it will be the best of the season and we will post menus by mid November
